MEETING INDUSTRY LADIES ORGANIZATION

SPONSORSHIP REQUIREMENTS

The Meeting Industry Organization has established the following guidelines for sponsorships in order to offer our sponsors the best opportunities for their support.  Sponsorships are limited.  These specifications will keep at a manageable level while offering the best visibility for each supporting entity.  Your comments on these guidelines would be greatly appreciated.


General Sponsorship Requirements

(Overall Minimum of $500 Sponsorship Required)

 

Up to two representatives can register for each sponsorship.

An additional individual registration fee is required for all sponsors.

Under a $1000 value sponsorship - one sponsor registrant

$1500 value sponsorship and above - two sponsor registrants

For large hosted functions, arrangements will be made for extra representatives.

Hole sponsors can register up to three representatives - if one is a golfer.

Player slots cannot be shared. Each sponsor representative will play both days.

HOLES

$1000/two-days

Signage with Company name
Three Representatives (one can fill a player slot)
Acknowledgment in the MILI Program that is distributed at MILI (100 attendees)              
Acknowledgement on the MILO Web Web Site (approximately 10,000 hits per month)
If there is a contest at hole, a representative is invited on stage at Awards Dinner to announce winner.
Meet and greet all 100 golfers of which approximately 60 are meeting planners.

BEVERAGE CART

$500/two-days

Signage with Company Name
Two Representatives (one can fill a player slot)
Acknowledgment in MILI Program that is distributed at MILI (100 people)
Acknowledgment on Web Site (approximately 10,000 hits per month)
Cruise entire golf course for one-two days to meet all 100 golfers of which 60 are meeting planners.

GIVEAWAY or DRAWING PRIZE*

$250

One Representative (golfer on non-golfer slot) for a minimum of $500-1500 item.
Two Representatives for item if valued over $1500 (one can fill a player slot)
Acknowledgment in MILI Program that is distributed at MILI (100 people)
Acknowledgment on Web Site (approximately 10,000 hits per month)

Acknowledgment during Awards Dinner (drawing prize only)

*Must provide either a giveaway for all golfers or attendees, or a drawing prize.

*Please note that any prize drawings for trips must be for two people and include two round-trip airlines tickets.

Hole Requirements

  1. All holes must be manned at all times.
  2. All holes must provide a contest, give-away or refreshment (to be approved prior).
  3. Only pros can hit shots with team at hole. MILO requires prior approval by the Coordinating Committee.
  4. Trips offered as a prize must be for two people and include airfare.

Beverage Carts

  1. All Beverage carts must carry a small amount of sandwiches along with beverages.
  2. Beverages and snacks will be cleared by committee to avoid duplication.
  3. All Beverage cart sponsors will be billed directly for food/beverage on cart.

Prize Drawings

  1. All drawings for trips must include airfare and must be for two people.
  2. All drawings will take place prior to the Awards Program and will be posted.

Charitable Donation

All registrants must bring a minimum of two used golf shirts as part of registration. These will be donated to the local community women’s shelter. In lieu of shirts, a $10.00 donation is required.

Sharing of Sponsorship

Sharing of a sponsorship is discouraged. Only one name will appear on each sponsorship. In the case of the higher value sponsorships, i.e. food functions, joint sponsorships will be considered.

Right of First Refusal for Sponsorship

Sponsors that have previously participated in MILO events will have the right of first refusal for sponsorship. Notification must be received by registration deadline.
